Im quite lazy to post blog nowadays coz I've been pretty busy lately. But anyway, just to keep this blog 'alive', Im gonna post up a funny video spoof on Chamillionaire's Ridin Dirty video by Weird Al Yankovic called White and Nerdy. I don't listen to rap songs, but this one is worth watching over and over again.

It's funny to me, but if it's not to you, blame your sense of humor. Here you go:

Making the band

Hmm.... I still remember being in my first ever rock band, which I formed during my secondary school era around 3 to 4 years ago. I was playing in a band called "Damage Inc." as the drummer, and I gotta tell you, I rocked like Lars Ulrich from Metallica. Haha just kidding.

After SPM, our band was 'dead'. But it was good while it lasted. We had fun jamming at Ice Music Studio and playing for the schools' Installation Nite.
Anyway, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my ex-band members Kochi, Dila, Zul, and Mior. You guys rock..... but I rocked harder.

This year, I got a chance to join another band. Mr. Halim, my lecturer asked some students from my class to create a theme song for a huge International Business conference called 'GLOBIZZ - Globalisation through peace' that will be held around the end of September. Initially, my current frontman Jacky Tan's song got picked for its' creativity and originality.

At first, it was only Jacky playing guitar for the song, but when he decided to take the song to the next level, so me and him recruited our friends to join in and play some extra chords and plucking and of course, drums.

We had time to practice the song at Jackys' house and when we're free, we went around Melaka Raya finding for studios to jam together. Seriously we are noobs. 3 years of not playing drums, and now my skills have gone from Lars Ulrich to budak kompang.

So, long story short, last last week we went to Gecko Studios to record our song. Oh btw, our band name is not confirmed, and our song is entitled 'Together'.

It was quite fun being at a recording studio for the first time. One hour cost us RM60, and the entire recording process took us 3 and a half hours, so we ended up paying RM210. It wasn't much of a financial problem, since the conference is gonna sponsor us.

But the problem is... after we finish the recording, the idiot guy who did our recording came up to us and said 'the mixing of the song will cost RM600'. Mai chee bai RM600 for one fucking song!! Earlier dunno how to tell!? RM600 where got people wanna sponsor us?

Damn frust wei after the recording session. But a few days later, our smart Jacky talked to Gecko Studios and asked for sponsorship in return of advertising their studio during the conference. So in the end, RM600 settle lar, and our song is finally complete!

I will upload the song on the Internet for you all to download and listen soon. Support my new band lar, k?

Damn weird clip from Swedish Idol

I normally don't watch American or Malaysian Idol because those are not my kinda music, but I really do love watching the auditions where they show a whole load of wannabes making a fool of themselves, which is very funny.

I thought watching a fat girl farted on Canadian Idol or William Hung was weird enough, but never have I seen this a retard singing 'Numa Numa' on Swedish Idol. He's a really... bloody weird guy la. I wonder if he has any friends.

Hungry ghost spotted in Kuantan!

Today I was hanging out in Mahkota Parade and I met up with one of my friend who's working in Inverno Music Station. He gave me a video that he and his friends took when they were in Kuantan during the Hungry Ghost Festival last month.

Here's the video:

Pay careful attention when the camera zooms in. You can see a white figure that looks abit like a lady lingering above the smokes from the joss-sticks, looking as if its' 'eating' the smokes. And then, it 'flied' away.

Normally, I don't believe in Hungry Ghost Festival, but this video kinda convinced me. But I DO believe that you can tape a ghost on your camera, and usually it looks blurry. Whether this video is true or not, it's up to you to judge for yourself.

Rock concert @ Sepang

It's been a damn long time since I update my blog. Been kinda busy this whole week with loads of assignment, thanks to a fat geek/nerd/sohai in my project group who loves to end all her fucking SMS with 'Take care'. Damn annoying!

Anyway, last Sunday, me and my two friends Ann Gie and Adrian went to Sepang F1 Circuit to attend a so-called rock concert organized by this Malay radio station named 'Suria.FM'. The main reason I went there is to support my friend's band 'Irotori', who's performing there.

Before we reached the circuit, me and Adrian thought it might be a good idea to stop at KLIA. For what? What else! Imported products and duty-free alcohols.

I thought of stocking up with a couple bottles of Baileys' and Absolut Vanilia, but to my disappointment, you need to bring a passport along to buy alcohols. Hamade!

I love checking out the chocolate stores in KLIA. Looks like 'Disneyland of Cocolates' to me. Damn chun, but I didn't get myself anything :(

At around 8 p.m., we finally reached the F1 Circuit. Seriously that place looks dead for an expected 'happening concert'. The ticket costed us RM10 each.

Before the 'concert' started, I managed to look around the F1 Circuit. I thought that place was suppose to be grand or special, but I guess everything looks better in the TV. I don't really feel like I'm in a circuit.

I just sat back and watched some cars speeding around the circuit. Supposingly at 10 p.m., there'll be some kinda endurance race going on, but we left quite early before the stupid concert ended.

Around 8.30pm, my friend's band started playing. Their performance was damn good, but I was damn pissed that the crowd really SUCKed. Plus, there were two Malay female commentators were talking as if they are trying so hard to be cool, they SUCKed.

After Irotori finished their songs, we left the hell out of there, because the whole 'concert' thingie SUCKed to the max. Seriously la, if it's not going to be a good concert, next time don't fucking organize it la!

One stupid thing I saw..... this 'popular' female singer was singing while trying to mix in and be friendly with the crowd, but instaed of giving handshakes, she handed out advertorial catalogues to them. WTF? What a fucking desperate and pathetic marketing strategy, don't you think?

Have you ever felt so empty inside, that it feels like you're just dead but still alive at the same time? Very much like a friggin' zombie.

It just seems that you don't have a purpose in anything you do, and you feel that whatever you are doing is worthless.

How I wish to be like Davy Jones. I want to rip out my fucking heart and lock it in a chest far far away, waiting for someone to open it and stab it straight to Hell.

How I wish to be in The Flying Dutchman, sailing forever into a sea of eternal depression, without any directions or any purpose at all.

Just after writing the Davy Jones' post above, I felt the urge to go the loo to make a hot flow of 'Chinese tea' (if you know what I mean).

But instead of peeing, I threw my RM1 note I was holding into the toilet bowl. Wtf was I thinking? Sohainess!

Fortunately I threw it before I pee. I picked it up (surprisingly I didn't wet a finger) and just clean it under running tap water. Should be OK...

Sigh... I think I'm going 'Shandong Peanuts'.

The things I like about Malaysia

This month, we Malaysians will be celebrating our country's 49th Merdeka Day, and enjoy the freedom our Papa Independence gave us back in 1957. Y'all got feel the heat? I don't.

Growing up in Malaysia for many bloody years, I still don't really feel all that patriotic but what the heck, there are some things I really love about Malaysia:

1. Durians: What else makes us more Malaysian than this infamous king of fruit? It's one freaking smelly fruit that tastes like armpit to Mat Sallehs, but we Malaysian still love it and find it tasty like hell.

2. Food: Hmm.... what more can we ask for in this multi-racial country? We have a variety of really cheap foods, be it dim sum for breakfast, nasi lemak for lunch, or roti canai for supper.
If u still don't like it we still classy restaurants like Chillis, San Fransisco Steakhouse, and Thank God I Farted.

3. Mamak: There's nothing like it and you can't find it anywhere else. During the World Cup 2006, football fans and punters gather in a big crowd, yelling like bitches on a lifeless TV screen. It's the closest punters can get to climax, watching their team win in a great environment.

That was until when Zidane made that stupid head-butt mistake, then that's the end of their luck.

4. Movies: No, I'm not talking about Malaysian-made movies like Remp-It, Anak Mami, or Senario Pemburu Yamashita dunno-wat-cock. I hate the fact that the government ban some foreign movies, censor sexy and violent parts, and erase the bad languages.

But look at the bright side; we have bloody ridiculous and funny Malay subtitles. My favourite is Nemo = Si Comel. Luckily they didn't translate POTC2:Dead Man's Chest as Tetek Lelaki Mati.
Or else, GSC and TGV confirm bankrupt wan.

5. Piracy: Thanks to the Ah Bengs we have the convenient of buying cheap and the latest movie at the nearest pasar malam in your neighbourhood. Hey computer nerds, the latest super-extra-cool PC software like umm.... (put any latest software name you know, and +1 to the number of the edition) is at your fingertips with only about RM10 per CD.

Auntie, you want to act high class mah? Got fake Guccis and Pradas that looks genuine to you (because you can't really tell the difference anyway since your eyesight have gone bad), available at Petaling Street.
With RM15, you can get yourself the latest cK Red Delicious and use it to spray on your flea and shit-infested pets. Classy!

6. Redang Island: It is the best beach I have ever been and for me, it's like a trip to heaven for RM350. Wei you guys better don't throw any rubbish in the sea when you visit there ok? Preserve the beautiful bitch that Mother Nature gave us... must I tell you that?

7. Hannah Tan: My favourite model in the entire planet... and I don't even admire Heidi Klum. She's so damn hot.... hotter than Malaysia's whether. Voted as the sexiest female model in Malaysia for 2006. No big surprise!

I made a promise to myself to look after you, and to grow up together with you until my dying days. But I guess it's time for me to realize that if not everything I have will last, especially the things I want the most.

Dragon Tiger Gate Sux!

Finally I watched Dragon Tiger Gate. According to KennySia.com, it's the 'most anticipated kungfu movie in Hong Kong', so I thought I give it a try since it sounds THAT good.

KNN! It's one of the most boring kungfu movies I've ever seen in my entire biological lifespan. Better I go watch Remp-It. But it's famous because it's a popular comic in China. If you enjoy watching unrealistic martial arts with too much graphic, then this is the movie for you.

To start off with, the movie has no bloody purpose. Either that or the story line is just too crappy. It's like a typical 'I fight-with-you, you-fight-with-me, and-whoever-wins-get-to-show-their-face-longer-on-the-cinema-screen' movie. Don't waste your money on this awful movie.

Secondly, despite their head being smashed into walls and bricks like roti canai, they still can maintain a very stylish and neat hairstyle. Or maybe they have combs in their pockets and they have super swift hands that when they comb their hair fast enough, it's invisible to the human eyes.

Whatever it is, you gotta owe it to the Chinese for coming up with very catchy kungfu moves, like 'Electric Eel Drill', 'Eight Dragon Slaying Palms' or 'Drunken Fist'. It's in their blood to name kungfu moves after powerful animals since centuries ago ever since kungfu was started.

Yesterday I just got back from Genting Highlands. Excited as a child's first trip to Disneyland, I was looking forward to the trip because it has been years seen I last stepped my foot in Genting. Unfortunately, the cable cars were closed for maintenance (dammit!). I remembered the last time I went there, I banged my Go-Kart into a pile of tyres before making it to the first round. Banzai!

One of the main reason I was excited because I wanted to take a ride on the Space Shot (formerly known as Solero Shot). Of course, besides spending time with friends :p. Many people told me that it s the scariest ride in Genting, so with my two big balls of steel, I decided to give it a try.

At first, I was telling to myself: "Why the hell so little people scream wan? I thought it was suppose to be scarrier than 'Cockscrew'?" During my ride on the Space Shot, this is my reaction: "Aaargghhh...aaak.....(long pause).....(pengsan)".

KNN! No wonder la so quiet! My friends and I were too damn shocked and scared until wan scream also cannot. The scary part was when they bring you to the top, let you have a nice view of Genting for awhile, then make you wonder when the hell they gonna drop you. The drop was so sudden that my testicles almost hide in my lungs. I think I fainted for awhile with my eyes open. It was damn fun though! No doubt one of the best rides there.

Cheh! The Corkscrew: the ultimate ride for noobs. No need balls also can ride wan la! After three rounds, I feel like I need more challenge!

Spinner

This Spinner also small kid's game la. The only thing that keeps me shivering is the thought that I might get throwed off my seat and land on a roller-coaster rail and get decapitated 70 km/h. The chains that holds the seats looks quite unconvincing.

I had some other ride too like the Flying Coaster a.k.a. Spiderman and much more, but I was too busy enjoying myself. Weeeeeeee!!

RM18 entitles me to visit the Ripley's Believe It Or Fuck It mini museum and a chance to see weird displays such as shrunken heads, fertility statues, weird magical tribal mask, bizzare paintings and many more. Definitely worth the money.

All in all, the trip was fun despite spending RM200 in two days. I'll definitely will be back next time, unless I'm staying in Disneyland or Universal Studios Theme Park. The more I go Genting, the more boring it gets....

Spider-Man 3 updated plot and pics

PLOT UPDATE: The third film in the highly succesful "Spider-Man' sees several new villains and a new women enter Peter Parker's life. With the secret now revealed to Mary Jane and Harry, peter must face the consequences of his action and his new life with Mary Jane as they finally form a relationship. Yet their newfound open display of love has yielded some unfortunate results, not the least of which is Peter's upset boss determined to make his life hell for causing his son emotional distress. Not helping is a young investigative reporter named Eddie Brock who Jameson has hired to find out why Mary Jane dumped his son for Peter - what's Parker's secrets?

At the same time an escaped prisoner hiding out on a remote beach is caught in a dreadful accident and finds himself turned into a shape-shifting sand creature. Peter's investigations into the past of this 'Sandman' brings him in contact with two very different things that will inevitably alter his life. The first a young woman named Gwen Stacy, daughter of the city's new police chief who is developing a soft spot for Peter. The other, a black substance from an accident scene which 'merges' with Peter's costume and gives him new found abilities.

SPOILER UPDATE: Remember the part in Spider-Man 1 where Peter Parker's Uncle Ben was shot dead by a carjacker? Well, 80-year-old Cliff Robertson, who played Uncle Ben will make an appearence again in Spider-Man 3. Professional paparazzi from WireImage caught some interesting pictures – Thomas Haden Church acting with Cliff Robertson and Michael Pappajohn working together in a scene at the New York Public Library (a location you may remember from the first film, when Uncle Ben drops Peter off to “do homework” and he actually goes wrestling). That means there’s a scene in Spider-Man 3 with Sandman, Uncle Ben and the carjacker who killed Uncle Ben. Perhaps this is a dream sequence?

WRONG! It seems that the scene at the library isn't a dream but is in fact a flashback, and the scene shows us that it wasn't the carjacker from the first film who killed Uncle Ben, but rather Flint Marko, aka Sandman! The carjacker was just Sandman's accomplice. Unexpected!

Last year, Kevin Munroe has been signed to write and direct a new CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Kevin is best known for his animation work for video games, television series, and comic books for Disney, Warner Bros., the Cartoon Network, WWE, Fox Kids, The Henson Company, Kids WB, Dark Horse Entertainment, IDW Publishing, and Nickelodeon. He developed the screenplay in consultation with Turtles comic book co-creator Peter Laird.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have enjoyed over 20 years of success in the U.S. and around the globe from their TV series, films, toys, and comic books.

Raphael

Recently, Kevin Munroe was present at the Comic-Con in San Diego and revealed five minutes of footage from the anticipated film, which is set after the second live action movie.

He said that the film will feature hidden jokes from the comics and animated series.

Splinter will be voiced by Japanese actor Mako. The other voices will be announced in a month, but they are not-so well known celbrities.

Shredder is not the villain in the story, though he does make an appearence, which might set up the conflict for the sequel. What a disappointment! He's the coolest TMNT villain ever! :(

Expect Casey Jones and April to develop a relationship.

Marco Beltrami is doing the score, and they are looking to create a "theme" for the Turtles CG movies, something memorable like the "Batman" theme.

One of the scenes shown features a turtle dressed up for a kids party, and the kids beat him up, with one of the little girl kicking him in the balls. Alot of action scenes were also shown, like the Turtles on skateboard, hang gliders, etc.

The movie features a bat character and a female ninja chracter.

There is a human villain, who may or may not be named Winter.

Donatello

Warner Bros. Pictures will handle domestic distribution of the first all-CGI-animated film in the popular "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise, while The Weinstein Company will take international territories. An overseas release date have not been announced so far. Hopefully TNMT will be released in Malaysia theatres coz I'm itching with curiosity!

After being swallowed by big-mofo Uncle Kraken in POTC 2: Dead Man's Chest, the fun-loving Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp will make a comeback in the upcoming POTC 3: At World's End. The movie will be expected to be released on May 2007 (damn fast rite?). This time, Captain Barbossa, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann must sail off the edge of the map, navigate treachery and betrayal, and make their final alliances for one last decisive battle.

With the forthcoming promotional tour for the domestic and international releases, director Gore Verbinski and his Pirates cast and crew won't see much of a break, heading back to finish production on part 3 this August.

"We are actually not going back to the Bahamas", says Verbinski. "We have shooting that is going to be off the coast of California. A little bit of water, but alot of stage work left".

Filming POTC 3: At World's End

Portions of the third film were completed during production of Dead Man's Chest, particularly the sequences that took advantage of the same sets. The initial plan was to finish both films at once, but production problems have forced the cast and crew to return to finish the film.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer comments: "Storms, hurricanes, sick actors. Little things that - some mechanical problems that we had stretched it out, so we had to cut our shooting short a little bit, which in a way was good because it gives us more time to prepare and edit the second movie."

Keith Richards: Captain Jack's papa

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards will be playing the father of Captain Jack Sparrow in third film. Johnny Depp had said he adopted the body language and mannerisms of the veteran guitarist to create Sparrow's character.

"We're all looking forward to the idea of Keith coming in and doing a cameo," Depp said in London.

"You never say it's definite until the guy steps on the set and the camera is rolling. But it's looking very, very good," he added.

"The only thing I can say is that we go to a completely other part of the world and we face a completely new range of baddies which are even worse than the ones we've faced before - they're really, really evil and nasty - even more so than Davy Jones, although he'll be back of course," said Kevin McNally during an interview with BANG Showbiz.

McNally continued: "The supernatural stories stay there and there is a big new supernatural element that's much bigger than the ones we've had before."

When asked about the location for the new movie, he said they are "heading to Singapore. If I told you anymore, I'd have to kill you."

Alrite...this will be my first movie post, and it will be about a movie that everyone is really eager to watch next year, 2007; Spider-Man 3! Oh yeah... Spidey makes a comeback and this time, a specimen from the moon gives him new powers and a black suit, while Spider-Man must battle the Hobgoblin, Sandman, Venom, and other dangers. Excited already?

Of course the comic characters I display vary from from the actual characters from the movie, but at least we can expect better-looking villains in the theatres. So far, the 'clear' pics of the real-life villains have not been released.

Sony Pictures has sent a new blacklit lenticular Spider-Man 3 poster to selected theatres in North America. As you can see on the left, the poster features Spidey's chest which goes from red to black/grey depending on what angle you're looking at.

Plus! You can now see how the poster looks like in real life at the official website!

Notice the costume transforms from 'good Spider-Man' to 'evil Venom', and the spider logo on the chest changes as well! Damn chun!

Welcome fellow sinners to my first ever blog! This site shall serve as a media for me to communicate with my friends as well as a place to post whatever shit I feel like posting.

A few years ago when I was introduced to the world of blogging, I was not really interested in it because most of the blogs I read are about people's personal life and problems that is not interesting and is something I don't give my fuck to. But a few months ago I was exposed to a few interesting blogs like Kenny Sia and Paul Tan.

Then I realized that blogging is not just an online diary. It can also be a haven for me to share my thoughts with readers, to criticize, to comment and especially to post articles which has got nothing to do with my personal problems (WTF took me so long to realize this!?).

My aim in blogging is to post articles that everyone can enjoy reading; not only my friends, but others who don't know who the fuck I am also. So, I came up with the idea to create a blog dedicated as a source of information about upcoming movies, previews, trailers, teasers and so on. Hence, the name "Sneak peek" is chosen as the name of my blog. The main post for this blog is about movies, but I might post articles that are non movie related too if I feel like there's something weird or funny, or perhaps something for me to insult and hummiliate, such as Mat Rempits or how I fucking hate wannabes and posers for example. But let's stick with the movie thingie for now...

Anyway, in the coming days or weeks, this blog will soon be posted with articles about movies or other stuffs. I hope this blog will be a success (I can't guarantee how long or 'hardworking' I will be blogging), so stick with me to find out more about the coming movies in the year 2006, 2007, 2008, bla bla bla...
